CHU WA is the transliteration in Japanese of
this calligraphy kindly donated by Go Seigen to the IGF during the 28th
WAGC. It can be translated as "Centre Harmony". As he explained, Go is
not a fight but harmony between White and Black. In being neither right
nor left, neither top nor bottom, harmony is maintained and is peace
and the essence of Go.
Go Seigen wants to give it to everyone in the world.
