On January 8 the Hungarian Youth Championships were played in 3 groups.

The group under 20 was as expected won by Dominik Boviz 1k with a 100% score.

The under 16 group had a small upset as Sebestyen Csoti 7k won all his games, even the one against Robert Csizmadia 4k.

The under 12 group had no surprise with David Matolcsi 8k winning all his games.
