On September 17th, Na Hyun defeats Lee Sedol in the final of the 29th Asian TV Cup. This is his first world cup championship. With this honor, he is promoted to be a 9P. Na Hyun plays really well in the Asian TV Cup, he defeats Chinese Pro Li Xuanhao and Japanese Pro Ichiriki Ryo in the first two rounds, and joins forces with Lee Sedol in the final then he perfectly defeats Lee Sedol. Beside his first international championship he also gets prize of twenty five thousand dollars. Lee Sedol gets five thousand dollars.
