The Grand Slam is the most prestigious tournament in Europe with a winner’s prize money of 10,000 euro. Twelve players take part in the competition, with two of the spots decided by the Grand Slam Qualification tournament.

 

This year the Grand Slam Qualification was held on 14–15 March in Bratislava, Slovakia. After five rounds of the competition, two players were selected: Tanguy Le Calvé 6d (France) and Nikola Mitić 7d (Serbia). Congratulations to both players!
