IMSA World Masters Championship: Official Schedule, Final List of Participants, and Competition Rules
The IMSA World Masters Championship is held in Hengshui, China on May 12–19. The full schedule of the event has been decided as follows:
May 12: Arrival Day
May 13: Opening Ceremony at 19:00
May 14: 1st round of the Teams Championship at 9:30 and 2nd round at 14:00
May 15: 3rd round of the Teams Championship at 9:30 and 4th round at 14:00
May 16: 5th round of the Teams Championship at 9:30; 1st round of Pairs Championship at 14:00; Awards ceremony at 19:00
May 17: 2nd round of the Pairs Championship at 9:30 and 3rd round at 14:00
May 18: Pairs Final at 9:00, and Awards Ceremony at 17:00
May 19: Departure

Finally, the competition rules of the three tournaments are as follows. All games use Chinese rules, with black giving a komi of 3.75 stones.
Men’s team tournament: six teams of three players each. Single round robin, one or two games a day (five rounds in total). 60 minutes thinking time with three periods of 30-second byo-yomi.
Women’s team tournament: six teams of two players each. Single round robin, one or two games a day (five rounds in total). 60 minutes thinking time with three periods of 30-second byo-yomi.
Pair go: eight pairs (China, Japan, South Korea, Chinese Taipei, North America, Europe, and two pairs chosen through wild card). Single knockout, one or two rounds a day over two days. 60 minutes thinking time with three periods of 30-second byo-yomi.
